Doster Construction Co. selected AEI Painting Contractors for the new $40.7 million Lanier High School. Totaling just over 434,000 square feet, the new construction portion of the project comprises 326,600 square feet where 107,600 square feet consists of renovating what iscurrently the old school. The five-story building which includes a basement will have 1 floor unfinished for future expansion. The new Lanier High School will feature numerous classrooms, biology and chemistry labs, a professional auditorium with stage, a competition gymnasium as well as a second auxiliary gym, a full-service kitchen and cafeteria, band and choral spaces, an art room and a media center. . Completed Summer of 2010.
